Statusphere’s Standard DOs and DON'Ts Library

1. Rules and Guidelines

These rules are mandatory for all creators in Statusphere's network and must be followed regardless of whether a brand includes them in their DOs and DON'Ts.
‍

  • Use FTC disclosure (#gifted, #ad, etc.) in all posts and stories.
  • Do not mention Statusphere packaging, boxes, or branding.
  • Only feature the brand(s) you're collaborating with; do not show or mention any other brands, logos, or names.
  • Ensure all of your Statusphere content is public. This means it cannot be shown only in ads or set to private.
  • Do not include visual or audible profanity
  • Use original imagery and videos to avoid copyright infringement; if using music it must be royalty-free Facebook Sound Collection & TikTok Creative Center

‍2. Standard DOs and DON'Ts Library

This library provides recommended best practices that brands often request when building campaign checklists.


Reminder: Any info in the Talking Points or Content Ideas should be seen as optional. Anything that’s absolutely needed (CTAs and non‑negotiable talking points) should be presented in the Objective Content Requirements wherever possible.

Adding a Brand as a Collaborator
  • ✅ DO add @tag as a collaborator on your Instagram Reel/post
  • ⚠️ Creators will NOT be rejected for this requirement, as our platform currently does not support tracking or verifying whether a creator attempted to collaborate with a brand.

Adding a Link in Bio
  • ✅ DO include this link in bio/linktree: [AMAZON link in Talking Points]
  • ✅ DO use a voiceover to say "you can shop now via the link in my bio"
  • ℹ️ Link in bio will be available for at least 7 days after the post date

Lighting & Background
  • ✅ DO film in bright and well-lit spaces
  • ✅ DO show the packaging & labels bright and clearly
  • ✅ DO film with a clutter-free background

Video Length
  • ✅ DO keep the video between … (e.g. 15–20) seconds

Before/After
  • ✅ DO show a before and after

Label Orientation
  • ✅ DO use invert effect so labels are not backwards

In‑Store Campaigns
  • ✅ DO show the storefront and product on shelves


Talking Points & QR Code Reference
  • ✅ DO leave a website review mentioning #gifted (automated DO when a website review is on)
  • ✅ DO *write an action here* (see Content Inspo by scanning QR code) – (optional unless marked as an Objective requirement)

Highlighting Product Benefits
  • ✅ DO tell how our products are different/stand out from other products
  • ✅ DO share why people should buy [brand] and your experience with the product

Verbal Mentions/Spoken Word Requirement
  • ✅ DO use a voiceover

    • both “use voiceover to say” AND “mention” can be used, depending on what is needed:

      • “use voiceover to say” = verbal mention, creators actually SAY “___” in the video
      • “mention” = any type of mention (verbal/caption/text overlay) of “___” in the video
  • ❌ DON’T use AI voiceover or text-to-speech in the video

  • ❌ DON’T include overlay text
  • ℹ️ Closed captions are accepted unless explicitly prohibited

Adding hashtags above the fold
